Football Recap: Ribault Trojans vs. Raines Vikings
Saturday just wasn't the day for Ribault's offense. They had to suffer through a 53-0 loss at the hands of the Raines Vikings. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Even if they lost, Ribault's defensive line still kept up the pressure with six sacks. Jalen Peters was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last four times he's played.
Timothy Cole was his usual excellent self, throwing for 244 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 43 yards and one TD for Raines. Ziyon Butler also helped out as he racked up 108 receiving yards.
Ribault's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Raines, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ribault will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Baldwin at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Raines, they will face off against Madison County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
