Basketball Recap: East Fairmont Comes Up Short

East Fairmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Bridgeport Indians, falling 81-32. The Bees were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-19.

Despite the defeat, East Fairmont saw an underclassman step up: sophomore River Mcclain posted 12 points.

East Fairmont's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bridgeport, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

East Fairmont will welcome Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Bridgeport has already played their next match (against Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
