Basketball Recap: Linganore Drops Highest Score of Season Against South Hagerstown

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linganore). They skirted past the South Hagerstown Rebels 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lancers have posted against the Rebels since February 4, 2020.

Linganore had a senior duo take command as Brandon Donaldson went 9 for 16 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists and Dylan Hodgson went 10 for 14 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Donaldson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cory Clark, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Linganore picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for South Hagerstown, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Linganore will take on North Hagerstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Hagerstown, they will challenge Oakdale on Friday.
