Basketball Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short

Navarro has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were outmatched by the Fredericksburg Billies and fell 47-10. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Billies are ranked 34th).

Tegan Harborth was Navarro's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Harborth also led the team in rebounds with nine.

Navarro's loss dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Fredericksburg, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.

Navarro will challenge Davenport at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fredericksburg has already played their next contest (against Bandera), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
