Belleville West and Belleville East are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Maroons will host the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Belleville West is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Father McGivney Catholic.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Belleville East was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They lost 4-0 to O'Fallon. Belleville East's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Belleville East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Belleville West, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1.

Belleville West was able to grind out a solid victory over Belleville East in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-1. Will the Maroons repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
