Recap: Dutch Fork Silver Foxes vs. River Bluff Gators
Make it 12 blowout wins for the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat River Bluff 78-31 at home. The win was nothing new for Dutch Fork as they're now sitting on three straight.
It was another big night for Michaela Fairwell, who scored 24 points along with nine steals and eight assists. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Antoinet Cheeseboro, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Dutch Fork pushed their record up to 17-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for River Bluff, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Dutch Fork will be playing at home against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lexington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Wednesday. As for River Bluff, they will head out on the road to take on Chapin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Chapin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
