Volleyball Recap: Sand Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Mitchell on Thursday, Sand Creek came back down to earth. The Scorpions fell 2-0 to the Pueblo East Eagles on Saturday. The Scorpions have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Sand Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Pueblo East, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sand Creek and Pueblo East will both be playing Fountain-Fort Carson the next time they take the court. The Scorpions will head out to face the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
