Volleyball Recap: Legacy Charter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Legacy Charter lost 3-0 to Altamonte Christian. Legacy Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Legacy Charter was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 25-15.

Lindsay Donahey paced Legacy Charter's offense, picking up four kills. Donahey got some help from Chloe Shoemaker and her five assists. Lily Ozanic controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Altamonte Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashlyn Hoberg led the charge by getting six kills, six aces, and one block. Hoberg is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Valeria Marte was another key player, getting 19 kills, three digs, three aces, and two blocks.

Legacy Charter now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Altamonte Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15.

Legacy Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Innovation Montessori on the 9th. As for Altamonte Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Winter Springs on the 9th.
