Jefferson posted their closest victory since April 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Enumclaw Hornets 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Hornets on Monday, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

Wyatt Ford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jefferson's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kingston Edwards, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Enumclaw, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-2.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-1 loss against Capital on the 19th. As for Enumclaw, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 win against White River on the 17th.
