Softball Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Spring Hill on Tuesday, Warren County came back down to earth. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers fell just short of the Columbia Central Lions by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Ky Damon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Columbia Central, they pushed their record up to 19-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither Warren County nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
