Volleyball Recap: Haverling Comes Up Short

Haverling lost against Hornell back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Haverling was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hornell's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-21.

Mia Nasca had an outrageously good game for Hornell as she had 17 digs and five aces.

Haverling's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hornell, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Haverling will look to defend their home court on Monday against Campbell-Savona at 6:00 p.m. As for Hornell, they will venture away from home to face off against Livonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
