After a string of four wins, West Brook's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Barbers Hill Eagles. While the Bruins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-18 in the first set.

West Brook started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-22.

Mina Ludwig was a one-woman wrecking crew For Barbers Hill. as she had 19 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Ludwig has posted since back in August.

West Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Barbers Hill, their win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 32-5.
