Softball Recap: Robinson Gets the Win

While Robinson put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Martinsville. Robinson walked away with a 3-0 victory over Martinsville. The Maroons haven't had any issues with the Bluestreaks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Olivia Chiasson, who gave up just six hits to keep Martinsville off the board.

On the hitting side, Brylee Yates was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples, one run, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Mallory Mosbey also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Martinsville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robinson will challenge Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Robinson will need to watch out since Marshall has now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Martinsville, they will square off against Dieterich at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
