Basketball Game Preview: Galax Maroon Tide vs. Bland County Bears

The Galax Maroon Tide will face off against the Bland County Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Galax has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Galax blew past Grayson County, posting a 66-33 victory. The Maroon Tide have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bland County came up short against George Wythe on Friday and fell 74-67. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Galax pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.4 points. As for Bland County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
