It was a good run, but Napaaqtugmiut unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to the Davis-Romoth Wolves. The Lynx were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 46-36.

Despite the loss, Napaaqtugmiut still got an impressive performance from Brooke Schaeffer, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connie Onalik, who had seven points.

Davis-Romoth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Ticket led the charge by putting up 15 points. Lucy Gooden was another key player, posting 11 points.

Napaaqtugmiut's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Davis-Romoth, their record now sits at 5-1.

Napaaqtugmiut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davis-Romoth, they will square off against Nome-Beltz at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Davis-Romoth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season.
