Baseball Recap: Taft Finds Home Field Redemption Against Aransas Pass

There's no place like home for Taft, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Aransas Pass Panthers on Thursday by a score of 1-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Aransas Pass' batters probably weren't too happy with John Franco, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up zero walks). Franco has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Taft saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Martinez, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
