St. Mary Catholic Central was the 38-7 winner over Detroit Country Day when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons/Kestrels lost to the Yellowjackets on the road by a 17-3 margin on Friday. The contest marked the Falcons/Kestrels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Mary Catholic Central suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 7-2. As for Detroit Country Day, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
