Basketball Game Preview: Grace Prep Lions vs. Southwest Christian School Eagles

The Grace Prep Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Southwest Christian School Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Grace Prep had to suffer through a 55-25 loss at the hands of Midland Christian. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 900th, while the Mustangs are ranked 120th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southwest Christian School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 43-36 victory over Fort Worth Christian on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Grace Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Southwest Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Grace Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southwest Christian School in their previous matchup last Friday, but they still walked away with a 47-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grace Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
