Monroe never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Pinckney Pirates as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Monroe's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Pinckney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-13-1.

Looking ahead, Monroe will venture away from home to take on Ida at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluestreaks have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Pinckney, they will host Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
