Football Game Preview: Hayden Wildcats vs. Wenonah Dragons + How To Watch

On Friday, Hayden had to suffer through a 56-20 loss at the hands of Corner. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 55th).

Despite their defeat, Hayden saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Everett Hicks, who threw for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. Zachary Tyler also deserves some recognition as he posted his first receiving yards of the season.

Meanwhile, Wenonah suffered their closest loss since October 31, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Carver Birmingham by a score of 16-14. While the Dragons had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Rams 6-0.

Wenonah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hayden, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
