Softball Recap: Fowler Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Fowler, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the St. Patrick Shamrocks by a score of 8-4 on Thursday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Shamrocks, too.

Fowler's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for St. Patrick, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Fowler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-10 victory against DeWitt on the 9th. As for St. Patrick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-6 defeat against Petoskey on the 10th.
