Flag Football Recap: Dougherty Valley Wildcats vs. Livermore Cowboys

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Amador Valley, Dougherty Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Livermore Cowboys a 6-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Kaitlyn Lohe, who rushed for 109 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also threw for 144 yards while completing 77.3% of her passes.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Dougherty Valley's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Skylar Fernandes.
