Maria Regina came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Montfort Academy Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7, 25-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maria Regina to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexandra Hysaj, who had four digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Hysaj a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Joly, who had five aces and one block.

They weren't the only good servers: Maria Regina was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Maria Regina's win bumped their record up to 18-3-1. As for Montfort Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Maria Regina will take on Preston at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Montfort Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
