Rocky Mountain lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lafe Files, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Kellan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Rocky Mountain has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Wind River, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Big Horn at 4:30 p.m. on January 27th. As for Wind River, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dubois. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Dubois is ranked 60th, while Wind River is ranked 53rd).
