East Lincoln extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 11-5 in the process. They put the hurt on the West Iredell Warriors with a sharp 13-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Tuesday.

Taniyah Thomas was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

As for West Iredell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

On West Iredell's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Stikeleather, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

East Lincoln has already played their next contest, a 19-1 win against Statesville on the 28th. As for West Iredell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against St. Stephens on the 28th.
