Recap: To'hajiilee Warriors vs. Northwest Falcons
In what's become a running theme this season, the To'hajiilee Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They blew past Northwest 57-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as To'hajiilee also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Leading To'hajiilee to victory were JayTee Nelson and Jamen Werito. Nelson scored ten points, while Werito scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Maurice Tsosie, who scored seven points.
The win makes it two in a row for To'hajiilee and bumps their season record up to 12-5. As for Northwest, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
To'hajiilee will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dine Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tse' Yi' Gai is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
