The result was nothing new for Eagle Point, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Eagle Point got a massive performance out of Kady Lindstrom, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Ha, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, sadly, Ashland is still looking for their first win of the season after six contests. Their tough 17-0 loss to Thurston two weeks ago might stick with them for a while.
Eagle Point has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Ashland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
