Football Game Preview: Torres Toros vs. Sunnyside Wildcats + Official Tickets

Torres hasn't had much luck against Sunnyside recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Toros will welcome the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Torres has given up an average of 36.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-14, which was the final score in Torres' tilt against Hoover on Friday.

Meanwhile, while Sunnyside put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Fresno. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Sunnyside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Michael Johnson.

The victory got Sunnyside back to even at 4-4. As for Torres, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
