Softball Recap: Bradley Central Bears vs. Ooltewah Owls

Bradley Central won against Red Bank last Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Bradley Central had just enough and edged out the Ooltewah Owls 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won nine in a row.

Kaylee Callahan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
