Basketball Recap: Smithfield Takes a Loss

Smithfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 56-46 to the Lincoln Lions.

Smithfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln Lions duke it out with the Johnston Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln is facing Johnston at the right time seeing as Johnston is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
