Volleyball Recap: Nixon-Smiley Find Success

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Saturday. Nixon-Smiley came out on top against Ingleside by a score of 2-0.

While Nixon-Smiley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 29-27.

Nixon-Smiley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Ingleside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Nixon-Smiley is taking a road trip to challenge Falls City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ingleside, they will welcome George West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
