Volleyball Game Preview: Omaha Westside Warriors vs. Marian Crusaders

Omaha Westside is 2-8 against Marian since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Omaha Westside made easy work of Kearney and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

One reason for the win was Omaha Westside's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Marian posted their closest victory since October 8th on Wednesday. They won by a set and slipped past Millard North 3-2.

Marian wouldn't go down easily and took Millard North into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-15, 25-27, 25-21, 15-13.

Omaha Westside's record is now 22-9. As for Marian, their record now sits at 29-8.
