Volleyball Recap: Jackson Extends Winning Streak to Five

Jackson had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Selma Saints.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jackson took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Autumn Rocker paced Jackson's offense, picking up nine kills. Rocker got some help from Neely Hebert and her ten assists. Carly Griffin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Selma, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will square off against Clarke County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Selma, they will welcome Southside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
