Volleyball Recap: Massanutten Military Academy Comes Up Short

Massanutten Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Wakefield Country Day Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 10-25, 25-10.

Massanutten Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wakefield Country Day, their victory ended a six-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Massanutten Military Academy and Stuart Hall will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Wakefield Country Day, they will be playing at home against Christ Chapel Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
