St. John Bosco is 2-0 in the Trinity League while Servite is 1-1. Both of Bosco's wins were close late in the game before it pulled ahead in beating
Orange Lutheran (Orange) 28-24 on Oct. 4 and
Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita) 13-0 last week.
Freshman
Koa Malau'ulu will be the starting quarterback for Bosco after junior Matai Fuiava transferred out of the program earlier this week. Malau'ulu has thrown for 588 yards and nine touchdowns against one interception this season.
Malau'ulu will battle a fellow freshman in the Servite secondary as
Kaleb Aiava leads the team with three interceptions and two forced fumbles.
