Dover has gone a perfect 6-0 against Milford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Senators will challenge the Buccaneers at 4:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dover has six straight victories, Milford has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Dover is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Polytech, who was ranked 11th at the time (Dover was ranked eighth). The Senators blew past the Panthers 9-3 on Tuesday. Considering the Senators have won six games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Milford lost 15-5 to Sussex Tech on Tuesday.

Dover's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Milford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Dover came out on top in a nail-biter against Milford when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Senators since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
