His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Ruiz Came Up Big in Medicine Lodge's 33-26 Loss
Medicine Lodge was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Keveon Ruiz did his best to prevent it. Ruiz was dynamite, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 129 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles and defending two passes.
On the year, Ruiz has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 173 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season, he had five passing touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Seth Dugan Leads Garden Plain over Haven
Garden Plain was led to victory by Seth Dugan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dugan rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
Garden Plain now has a winning record of 3-2. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Owls takes on Kingman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
