Baseball Recap: Lamar Thunder vs. Bennett Tigers
Lamar won the last time they faced Bennett and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thunder walked away with a 7-4 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunder.
Alex Williams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
