After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Bakersfield, West was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Stars, sneaking past 12-10. Considering the Vikings' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
West let Josh Camacho and Eric Lleyva run wild. Camacho went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Lleyva scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those four RBI gave Camacho a new career-high.
