After only ten points in their last contest, Giddings made sure to put some points up on the board against Smithville on Friday. The Buffaloes took their matchup with ease, bagging a 47-7 victory over the Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Buffaloes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Montgomery rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry while Medack rushed for 104 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.
