Softball Recap: Lely Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lely can now relate to. They came up short against the Barron Collier Cougars on Thursday, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lely saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Bledsoe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Lely now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Barron Collier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

As of now, neither Lely nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
