Soccer Recap: Porter Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Porter can now relate to. They lost 4-1 to the A&M Consolidated Tigers on Friday. While losing is never fun, Porter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while A&M Consolidated are ranked 85th).

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 13-4-3. As for A&M Consolidated, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3-2.

Porter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for A&M Consolidated, they will square off against Ball at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ball's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
