Softball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy fell victim to Tanque Verde and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Hawks. The Lions have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Tanque Verde, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will take on Palo Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tanque Verde, they will square off against Rio Rico at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Rico will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tanque Verde surely won't give up without a fight.
