Jonah Branham was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Justus Wertzler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jb Martin also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Woodford County pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. Woodford County was able to grind out a solid win over Garrard County in their previous meeting back in March, winning 6-2.
