Englewood put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Christ's Church Academy Eagles. Considering the Rams have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Ethan Anderson and Ranses Vanero were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Anderson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Vanero kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Anderson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned runs in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Anderson scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Vanero scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ender Aldana, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Osmay Figueredo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Englewood's record is now 5-0. As for Christ's Church Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Englewood will take on Bolles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Englewood knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Bolles likes a good challenge. As for Christ's Church Academy, they will challenge Crescent City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
