Soccer Game Preview: Santa Fe vs. Buchholz

The Santa Fe Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Buchholz Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Santa Fe lost 9-1 to P.K. Yonge on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Raiders were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Buchholz's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Williston out 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Abby Bowen was the driving force of Buchholz's attack as she scored both of Buchholz's goals, bringing her season total up to 13 goals.

Buchholz's record is now 9-4-2. As for Santa Fe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Santa Fe came up short against Buchholz when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Santa Fe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
