Softball Game Preview: Lemoore Tigers vs. Hanford Bullpups

The Lemoore Tigers will head out to challenge the Hanford Bullpups at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lemoore has given up an average of 9.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lemoore is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of Tulare Western.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Hanford was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 6-0 to Mission Oak. The Bullpups' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hanford's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14-2. As for Lemoore, their loss dropped their record down to 5-19-1.

Lemoore beat Hanford 11-8 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
