The Millard Eagles will challenge the Altamont Longhorns at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Altamont took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Millard, who comes in off a win.

Millard took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Kanab 14-4. Considering the Eagles have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Millard got a great performance from Macie Wade as she pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Wade has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Maren Davies was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Stephens, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Millard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kanab only posted an OBP of .364.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Millard hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Altamont struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
