Basketball Recap: Ingomar Victorious

Ingomar extended their postseason success on Friday against Walnut. They came out on top against the Walnut Wildcats by a score of 70-60. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Macie Phifer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Wray, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Ingomar smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matchups.

Ingomar's win bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Walnut, their loss dropped their record down to 26-6.

Ingomar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-28 victory against New Site on the 20th. Walnut does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
