Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Montgomery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltop Lancers. The Aztecs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Montgomery started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-9.

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hilltop, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery will host San Diego at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilltop, they will square off against Rock Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
